Name teresa johnson Message: 2009 carnival was okay. don't like the fact that police towed cars away. visitors don't know about the parking rules on weekends that was terrible. Then the pan competition, it was not judged fairly the bands that came in second, third & fourth has no business being in thise position. There was a band from Miami but there players were from out-of-town that sound wonderful, they should've place firt, second or third. Everyone knew this was fix. All around the whole anyone or any band is allow to take place in any event they wish, only in miami we have this problem. It sound like there nothing but little mind men & woman with no common sense & education. This is not the old days, when bands come from out-of-town be happy they are spending money here in our communities and everyone get a chance to hear more different arrangement of our cukture. The love and unity can't be beat. Whoa look at people...yuh mek me wanna...Jump, jump around de place!!! Food, fun, and frolic. Big up to City of Miami police department for keeping the order!!! Party people looking forward for a night of fun and entertainment was turned away from Club Space because the promoters over booked the club and individuals who bought advanced tickets who stood in line for hours were turned away at the door because no one else was allowed inside.
